Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to move teeth gradually into place. They are discreet, and you can take them out to eat and clean your teeth.
How it works
- A consultation, exam and x-rays or scans to see if aligners are suitable
- A digital plan shows how your teeth will move
- Every one to two weeks, you switch to the next aligner in the series
- Regular check-ups let us make sure treatment is on track
- Retainers keep the new position afterward
What you need to do
- Wear the aligners about 20 to 22 hours a day
- Take them out to eat and drink anything but water
- Brush before putting them back in, and clean the aligners daily
Good to know
Treatment time depends on your case, and we will give you an estimate after your assessment. Aligners can handle many cases, but some complex bite problems are better treated with braces. We will recommend what suits you.
