All-on-4 is an approach that supports a full arch of fixed teeth on a small number of implants, often four, instead of one implant for every tooth. Full-mouth rehabilitation is a broader plan to rebuild a mouth with extensive damage, wear or missing teeth.
Who it may suit
- People who are missing most or all of the teeth in an arch
- People whose remaining teeth are failing because of decay or gum disease
- People who are unhappy with loose dentures and want a fixed option
How it works
- A detailed assessment with exam, x-rays and 3D imaging to see if there is enough bone and healthy gum tissue
- A treatment plan that explains each step, the timeline and the cost
- Implant placement, with a temporary set of teeth in some cases
- A healing period, followed by the final fixed teeth
Be aware
This is a significant treatment and not right for everyone. Bone levels, overall health, smoking and your goals all matter. Some of the steps may be done with a specialist, and we will explain who does what. We will review all your options, including other ways to replace teeth, before you decide. Book a consultation to find out if you are a candidate.
